General Information

ANTECEDENTS

The first International Mechatronics has born from the student’s initiative of Centro Universitario de los Lagos; they are interested to know the actual state and the future of Mechatronics in our country. This with the purpose to have an integral academic formation and to identify the opportunities that Mechatronics give them to link Centro Universitario de los Lagos with the productive and social activities of the region. In addition, for graduates it is very important to know the possibilities in engineering area for his professional development.

PRESENTATION

This congress gets together students that exchange experiences in a platform designed for this, where specialized speakers in topics like robotics, automation, control and optics will give them to know the new trends of research and application of the knowledge, as well as specialized participants in environment for his conservation and use of alternative energies.

INTRODUCTION

The Mechatronics is a new branch of engineering that combines knowledge in electronics, mechanic and computer to integrate modern solutions to the different problems presented in areas like medicine, the automation of the process, robotic developments, communications and more.
The diversity of problems they can face as graduate of Mechatronics to incorporate to the professional activity. For this reason we look for the excellence academic of our graduates and in the social commitment that University has, Centro Universitario de los Lagos organize an event aimed to students and to the public in general who is interested in recent topics with a future perspective, as well as social an economic impact that Mechatronics has had in the country.
The previous expose for specialist in different areas of Mechatronics, which this will share their professional experiences through of thematic conferences. Additionally, we have programmed workshops that pretend reinforce, expand and update the practice knowledge to students, graduate, and persons interested in this topic. Finally, we pretend to link Centro Universitario de los Lagos with socio economic activity from the region through the presentation of projects that attend the specific necessities of the demand to different areas.

GENERAL OBJETIVE

To achieve that participants update their theoretical practice knowledge in the different areas of Mechatronics and they apply in development of technology, research and solving problems to accomplish the demand of different productive and social areas in the country.

SPECIFIC OBJETIVES
During conferences

  • To get specialist of different branches of Mechatronics so this way they can share their professional experience with the participants and they contribute to student’s development.
  • To build a vision from the state of contemporary art and perspective to Mechatronics future in our country.
To promote and link Los Lagos University Center with different areas related with Mechatronics.

Workshops development

  • To develop competencies that enriches the integral formation of the participants in specific topics of Mechatronics area.
  • To get the interaction of groups that detect the recent problematic and react as a consequence of approaches in Mechatronic area that tend to solve them.
  • To develop projects.
